Helen Hsu possesses nearly 25 years of legal experience as an attorney. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Medical Technology from L.S.U. and her law degree from L.S.U. Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1990. She uniquely holds dual law licenses. She became licensed in the state of Louisiana in 1990 and in the state of Texas in 1994.
Ms. Hsu began her legal career working in a small plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in Baton Rouge, LA and then became a staff attorney for the Appropriations Committee of the Louisiana House of Representatives, where she drafted state legislation. Ms. Hsu relocated to Houston, Texas in 1994 to practice there and has been residing in Houston ever since.
During her very extensive and lengthy legal career, Ms. Hsu focused on civil litigation and representing her clients to the best of her ability. Ms. Hsu has practiced in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, product liability, toxic tort, healthcare, maritime, commercial litigation, and consumer litigation. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, which provides her with a unique perspective in handling cases and interpreting the law. Her clients have included individuals, physicians, nursing homes, hospitals, and various corporations. She has handled multi-million dollar litigation.
Ms. Hsu provides her clients with her undivided attention, which is something that larger firms may not provide. She works all of her cases from the very beginning all the way through trial and even appeal, if necessary.
